June Card of the Month

Hi Lovelies,

Today I'd love to show you a few of the beautiful cards from June's Card of the Month kit.
For anyone who's favourite flowers are roses, you will absolutely love these cards.

This month the cards were designed by the gorgeous Annie using Ultimate Craft's paper range 'Rambling Rose'.
The range is filled with delicate pink, purple and yellow roses, birds and butterflies.

To create a beautifully seamless card front, Annie has mixed the Cherish Me Doily die
with the Martha Stewart Half Daisy Edge Punch.

Annie has fussy cut the yellow roses from this paper range to create a lovely lemon card.
To add dimension, two of the coordinating bunting pieces were tucked into the rose cluster.
The 'Grateful' Stamp & Die Set was used to create a beautiful verse and is the perfect finish to any card.

Sometimes all you need is a little bit of foam tape to create a feature element. Here Annie has mounted a frame with foam tape and finished off with tiny pearl bling in each corner.

July Layout of the Month

Hi Lovelies,

Today's post is the stunning Double Layout for July using Graphic 45's 'Nature Sketchbook'.
The bold, bright colours in this range were just destined to create a fun filled layout as such.

This month the pages are scattered with vibrant butterflies,
hand died flowers and die-cut ferns.

Helen has used a selection of Tim Holtz Distress Inks including 'Candied Apple', 'Blueprint Sketch'
and 'Wild Honey' to die paper flowers, ensuring they match the colours in the paper range.

These adorable little butterflies have been fussy cut
and finished off with a coat of glossy accents.

As Helen has done, when using beautifully patterned papers like Graphic 45's,
a simple plain cardstock background can make all the elements jump off the page,
creating a striking layout.

If you're loving our posts about the Layout of the Month kits, why not contact us to be put on our pre-order list to make sure you never miss out!

Art Journal Class 27th June

Hi Lovelies,

Yesterday some of our Art Journal ladies gathered for a class
with Helen to create this beautiful page.

As always, the ladies have endless amount of fun, while learning new techniques
and leaving with their very own masterpiece.

The ladies began by spritzing their page with Tim Holtz Distress sprays and Dylusions to create a base.
Jo Sonja's paint was then added to a few sections for more dimension.

A multi size circle stencil was then used with Jo Sonja's
paints to add small pops of colour.

The key to a good art journal page is layers, so another
was added to the page using various stamps in different colours.

After a light wash of Dylusions 'White Linnen' to soften and blend everything
together, the ladies were ready to draw and colour their flowers.

The pages turned out beautifully and everyone was
very impressed with their work.

When you look closely, there are so many elements to this page that
all work together to create a mini masterpiece.

A little bit of black grease pencil around the edges made the flowers stand
out on the page and was the final touch to this stunning project.

Our Art Journal classes are held on Tuesdays and Fridays
and are always full of fun and laughter.

Call our lovely ladies at the Scrap N Patch if you
would like to share in the fun.

Up Coming Mini Album Class

Hi Lovelies,

Today I'm sharing with you one of our many stunning up coming classes.
This here is Helen's beautiful mini album using Bo Bunny's 'Baby Bump'.

This album is beautiful all the way from the front cover to the last page.
The front is embellished with adorable hand punched flowers,
die-cut ferns and bling details.

Inside there are sixteen lovely pages, with many having extra little pockets and fold outs.
This provides ample space to store all your precious memories and keepsakes.

Here you can see the adorable window frame pocket (pictured above) folded out.
This is a perfect way to display and store you photos in an interactive manner.

The paper selected for this album is very versatile
and can suit photos from various occasions.

There are so many compartments and pockets, you'll have a bundle of fun creating the album
and even more going back through it and finding hidden little memories.

This album is extremely spacious yet compact and certainly does not compromise on looks.
Just look at the gorgeous flowers, bling and ribbons.

This album is too sweet to miss out on!
Class will be held on Saturday the 8th and there are a limited number of seats

As you may know, every month the lovely Helen designs a Double Layout of the Month.
This month two whimsical pages have been created using Ultimate Crafts' L'Aquarelle paper range.

The layouts feature the cool purple and blue tones from the range and of course the beautiful butterflies and flowers that just beg to be fussy cut.

This month's double layout has space for five of your precious photos.

Helen has also used the Rambling Rose 'Grateful' stamp and die set to create the beautiful verse,
"those who are happiest are grateful for everything that they have"

The coordinating metal dragonflies, butterflies and bling
are the perfect finishing touches.

There are a few kits left so come in quick
if this beautiful layout took your fancy.

Nature's Sketchbook Cards

Hi lovelies,

Recently we shared a beautiful Graphic 45 Nature's Sketchbook Box created by Helen.
Today I'd love to show you the stunning coordinating cards that belong inside, designed by the lovely Linda.

Linda has used various embellishments to compliment these gorgeous papers,
such as this adorable little dragonfly cabochon.

This card is so sweet and is one of my favourites!
Making cleaver use of the 'Bee Yourself' sentiment, Linda has used a nesting honeycomb die, the bee paper and an adorable metal bee embellishment to create this lovely card.

Glossy accents, dyed muslin and a fussy cut butterfly are
perfect accompaniments to the beautiful patterns and verses from this paper range.

This card is a sure winner for the lovers of ferns.
With a patterned fern background and a statement fern journalling card, what more could you want!

As always, Linda's cards are truly stunning.
